Someone tell me if people really do mention the person they're talking to's name over and over again when they're having a conversation..

"Look, Travis."

From one uninterrupted in-person conversation, between only two characters, across 2 pages. And this happens *all* the time. Is it necessary??

wow ha! i only ever use someone's name when i'm trying to get their attention.
