White's writing is on the slow and descriptive side for sure. And I'm enjoying the cinematic feel because of the descriptive, but I feel like it can be better in terms of dialogue and characters and pacing and not so much telling as showing and MAKE ME FEEL THINGS PLEASE. ^_^
