I feel so dumb. Halfway through the book and I barely realized there are two narrators. No wonder I kept getting confused about where this took place, why the character would say one thing and a few pages later it would be something totally opposite.

(2 of 2 / cont.) In my defense, I avoided reading the synopsis and also didn't realize that Camino was the first name of one of the girl narrators. I've never heard this name before, especially for a girl (the word being masculine) and it did not help that it means way, road, path... a bit confusing, making me have to go back and skim through majority of verses to sort of get the story back on track for me.

You’re not dumb. It sounds like it might not be written for the best. I am usually always confused and if I don’t find my way back quickly I hate the book

Lol. I couldn't believe I didn't realize I was reading it wrong until after 200 pages. Ugh! Luckily, it was written in verse so it made for quick skimming of the book. I do think the design makes it a little confusing or misleading , though. That didn't help matters.
