Maybe there is more, maybe it is just the desire to live an adventure to overcome one's limits (what is life without some challenge?), To do something great, leaving an imprint, a mark of its own passage, where no human has ever succeeded. Or maybe it's just a matter of appeasing your inner demons, coming to terms with the past to confirm that you are able to walk on your own legs. It is the heroic spirit, and the need for pecuniary of course, the curse that pushes these two adventurers to wander restlessly facing the unknown for sheer fun, contemplating unknown landscapes for the pleasure of discovery and the thrill of the unknown to make sure of go back and have a new story to tell. Fafhrd and Mouser are two unique and singular characters, not special heroes but heroic adventurers who go beyond the ordinary.
