Another cozy that waits more than halfway before giving us a murder. That trope is getting old. Also, I feel like Brooklyn has become, frankly, a wimp. She is heavily relying on Derek, inappropriately freaking out when nothing is really going on, and is it just me, or has the exclamation point been abused in this book? I normally love this series, but this one is getting on my nerves.
