I love this book. All of the characters have developed in interesting ways, such as Noah's uncle. He has gone from a man who seems to not care about anything to it becoming obvious that he cares deeply for those around him. Noah and his division have been actually deployed in Italy, and are trying to flush out the Nazis from the Alps. Noah is now completely willing to fight in the war in order to help his friends.

I finished the book, and I really enjoyed it all. It becomes even better when you realize that all of the events are connected to a real division and what they actually did during the Second World War. The characters all seem very real, and you can very easily relate to the main character, Noah. I love the way that throughout this book, Noah goes from being against war and even being at the camp, to being selfless.

I really enjoy this book. Noah has been put into actual training for the Snow division and has learned for the first time about the atrocities that are taking place in Nazi Germany. He has decided to actually go through with joining the war efforts because he's realized that everyone else on the team is scared just like he is. Noah has started to actually really appreciate his uncle, despite him being unusual.

So far, I really love this book. I love the era it's set in, which is WWII, and I also love all of the characters in it so far. The main character is Noah, and after his parents have died of smallpox he's been sent to the military base in Colorado where his uncle works. He lies about his age so that he won't be sent away, but his uncle puts him into the camp to train to help them fight the war.
