Dustin Domingo’s Reviews > Three Terrifying Bestselling Novels: Suffer the Children/Punish the Sinners/Cry for the Strangers > Status Update

Finished "Suffer the Children". This gets 3 ⭐ out of 5 ⭐ for me. Couldn't care less about the characters, especially the adults that we're supposed to be rooting for. They're all so quick to dismiss what the dad potentially did even though it's messed up. It picks up when we get to the part where children are in peril (and how!), and those last chapters teased a big showdown but it doesn't go anywhere.
