This book feels like an existential fiction, which it might very well be, rather than a science fiction. I grew up watching a lot of animes. This book reminds me of animes a lot. There exists a relationship between a boy and a girl so complex and weird that only those two can understand at first, but later it all makes sense.

The characters are Animeish(Is that a word?) but begs us to take them seriously.
