3, Mia's emotional responses were refreshing. I wonder if this implies befriending the tracker.

4. I like the historical fiction; mostly the witchcraft trial.

5. Also, I like the math and science. Particularly about the old air in the ice. Odd. Uncanny. Interesting. Like Arte Johnson said, "Very Interesting."

This page is the end of the novel.
I wanted the story to continue because it was not resolved as to the things the Trackers brought up and what their people were.

I can't help but think abandoning a son but killing a daughter because she had two would be a thing after a bloodlust revenge campaign to avenge a husband long ago. Perhaps the other daughter was really left with someone instead, but she told the surviving one she had killed her. Maybe that daughter is Mia's lineage? Would be neat!

Like Mia said, what's in it for us? The unresolved conflict is more than a
secret. The knowledge appears lost. Earlier, it was mentioned the stories may have been embellished.

1. Sort of wondering about George...

2. On Swearing
I have never heard a girl swear in front of her mother. Obedience implied reverence. My mother didn't swear either for the most part--many "fiddlesticks." Then there's the light-hearted, wise sister of mine who swears, but it's funny.
