I totally forgot she killed off a dog in this book 😭 That aside, this is still as gripping & fun as I remember it being. Thankfully, I forgot all the twists and got to enjoy watching them unfold again! The audiobook was also excellent. It featured multimedia sections that were voiced by a full cast & spliced among the normal single-speaker narrative. -1 star for Barney who didn’t deserve his fate 😭

I love Ravi so much 😭 Okay I had fun with this one! The audiobook has a full cast, complete with one very fantastic main narrator, and a supporting cast to join in for interview transcripts and other bits. TW for dog death. The twist ending also felt overly convoluted for the sake of making the perps look sympathetic and shock value. But I still thoroughly enjoyed myself!

Jackson writes a drugged up person very vividly! That was such a climactic scene. I was on the edge of my seat the whole time.

Why would she willingly drink something prepared by a murder suspect??? 🤦🏼‍♀️

This revelation is very convoluted. I loved everything up until this point. It seems like the author just didn’t want to go all the way there with this twist. If it were closer to the Life Is Strange twist, which is what I was anticipating, it would’ve been way more believable and grounded in reality.
