What the hell happened to the jerk neighbour from the beginning of this book?

Big climax is so boring.

His boyfriend just got attacked and he's so calm??

Why am I still reading this?
I don't even know what's happening in this fight scene. So confusing.

All the secondary and background characters are flat and empty.

What the hell!? A page ago, they were both not on board with sex for several good reasons, but now they're jumping each other???!!!
With no discussion, I might add!

Now the mc is bragging about his writing ability and friends are asking how he does it. He can't explain of course, because this writer can't write well.

Ok, so this is not good writing. It reads like a teenager's first attempt. I dunno if I can do this.
