May 27, 2003 — Reuters: Afghan troops killed Taliban Commander, Mullah Ghausuddin, in a gun battle at Maradhow Village, Afghanistan. The body was identified, by a government official, and committed to the ground within 24 hours of death.

June 06, 2005 — The Pajhwok Afghan News: “The Afghan National Army, have arrested three men in the city of Tirin Kot. An official claimed one to be Mullah Ghausuddin.”

With his notebook to hand, he lifted the receiver, ... and poked at the large black buttons.
