So far still not liking the book too much. It's like a person who wrote it only writes novels and decided to write a graphic novel. Instead of using the art panels to help convey what is happening in the book the author just describes what is going on and also shows it and it just doesn't show. I will still keep reading it till my previous book comes in.

When the protagonist is fighting the main villain he says, "Eagles. Dozens of them. Maybe hundreds. In a single burst, I unleash all my power."(Patterson 99).

The book is starting to get kind of interesting. Some dialog is still very bad but the story is finally getting not so generic. the main character meets a new side character and befriends him then only to lose him a few pages later. A side character is talking to the main character and says, "You have an air about you. You've lost someone. A friend?"(Patterson 74). Then the main character says back, "A new one"(74)

MAKE UP FOR 10/8
The main villain was just introduced. He's very generic so not happy about that. I think this might have been this person's first graphic novel cause they do a really bad job of incorporating the art with the story. Instead of using the advantage of having art they just tel you whats going on. I'll keep reading this till we start F451 but I really don't like it.

UPDATE FOR 10/15
The book is starting to get a little more action but still don't like it too much. I think I said this before but I really like the art style. It adds a good touch to the boo. Probably the best thing about the book if I'm being honest.

Still not really enjoying the book. The dialog is cheesy and generic. An example of that is this, "But there's something these guys don't know. Something I haven't told you yet" (Patterson 7). Yes, I know this is a superhero book but that is such an overused intro to someone's powers. Also, the main character is legitimately invisible and has too many powers. I wish the author would've taken more time to develop him

Still not really liking this book too much. The way it's written just really isn't that good. It's very generic and the plot line is used a lot. I'm considering finding a new book but I think I'm just going to wait till "The Prince and The Dress Maker" gets into the library.

I just started this book and I really don't know how to feel. The dialog is kinda bad and the backstory to the protagonist is weak/generic, but I'm hoping that things will turn for the better further on.
