When having a baby induces something like post traumatic stress/depression due to the events of 20 years ago that have been long suppressed. Heart wrenching to read, an experience that is so common and buried so deep.

Just finished with Book One and taking time to think it over, it's the unconscious effect of grief, how a young woman fulfills that need, the gaping hole left by the death of someone close, mixed with the separation from family, a father who is elsewhere. She does things unconsciously and in Book Two I sense she is about to awaken with an earth shattering jolt.

After the death of a close friend and the need to get away, Lillis leaves Ireland and moves to Scotland taking up a job as a waitress.
