Ellul goes boldly at the heart of the matter, and addresses a plain to see reality that the overwhelming majority of modern “Christians” today are in absolute ignorance of. That reality, is how far removed they are from the TRUE essence of God’s revelation in Jesus Christ. The “church” as it is understood today, is not even remotely aware of what a life in Christ means.
