This is going to be one of those reviews where I list all the deficiencies in this book one by one.

Wait, is a stalker being introduced at the 85% mark? This book is badly planned.

I think it’s just this trope that doesn’t work for me. I can’t get behind a FMC that doesn’t know her mind. She was marrying someone else two weeks ago and now she’s in love with his best friend. I’m supposed to believe she’s a reliable love interest? Give her two more weeks and she’ll be all over her mailman for all I know.

It’s so contrived when a con/rom throws in a random pet rescue. It’s obvious reader manipulation. YOU CAN’T FORCE ME TO FEEL SOMETHING!
How about you just focus on writing a good story and not use these ploys?
Next this guy will be carrying her from a burning building just because.

Wait, so this guy who cares about propriety and what others thought of him was marrying a burlesque dancer? That’s a fancy stripper who leaves her pants on. I somehow don’t think he would have been ok with that.

Hmm this is cute, protracted, but cute.
