I liked October Daye, but some books really did drag on for a bit. Do you want KU or M/M recommendations?

If traditional publishing, some of the ones I liked included Jane Yellowrock, Elemental Assassin, Sentinels of New Orleans, The Others, World of the Lupi, and The Hollows. Innkeeper Chronicles by Ilona Andrews is also one of my favs.

I liked Toby Daye, but there was a lot of info dumping, and parts that dragged like you said. I remembered kind of liking Tybalt, but not picking the 3rd one up. I'm in the middle of trying her out again though because I've heard great things, are all the spicy scenes fade to black though? Because thats not a hard no for me, its just a little less fun haha

I love M/M, but I'd need an F in there at some point lol. So most M/M wont work for me :( KU is great, but not required!

Oh boy, I have devoured EVERYTHING from Ilona Andrews, They are my auto buy author and I worship every word they write. haha I've read everything you suggested except the Sentinels of New Orleans so I instantly put that on my TBR. Everything else you mentioned I LOVED except Jane Yellowrock for some reason, Might need to try her out again and make sure!

I honestly haven't read October Daye in so long I can't remember, hahaha.

Okay, for KU, these are some other favorite authors: Hailey Edwards (although she tends to like love triangles), K.F. Breene, K.M. Shea, Kelly St. Clare, Stacia Stark, Kel Carpenter, Kathryn Ann Kingsley (she likes writing lots of villain romance), Auryn Hadley (mostly poly and RH), Annette Marie (mostly YA UF), Emma Dean (lots of RH, but some are M/F).

Some of their series are more romance than UF, and not all series were my cup of tea, but hopefully you can find something you're interested in!

Some specific series on my favorites lists: The City Between by W.R. Gingell, Jacky Leon by K.N. Banet (and spin-offs).

Holy hell you've listed so many of my favorite authors! I was just thinking of reading one of Hailey Edwards newer releases, and I literally just finished rereading a Kathryn Ann Kingsley series yesterday, so that rec is spot on! and Annette Marie is in my top 5 favorite authors, right behind Ilona Andrews. Your taste in books is stellar! I followed you and am going to stalk your bookshelves shamelessly! <3

You listed two authors I've not read before so thank you so much!!! Emma Dean and Kel Carpenter! Rarely do I get reccs for authors I've not heard about so I'm so excited! I can't thank you enough!
