I maybe might be ok with it if the author had her own series with a hockey team set in Brooklyn but she does not

This makes me want to bang my head against a wall: Adam states he has already been drafted to the Brooklyn Barrons, the PROBLEM with that: this author is writing in Sarina's world THEREFORE this author could have picked ANY other city to say he was drafted to BUT NO she picked Brooklyn, where Sarina ALREADY has a team IN HER WORLD. DOES NO ONE ELSE SEE THE ISSUE WITH THIS?????
