SUMMARY- The main characters are Troy, Chuku, Seth, Troy's dad and his mom. The story is about how Summit has a very bad football team and have low money. Troy can not afford to go to a better school so has to go to Summit. They get a former NFL player as coach Troy as qb and Chuku as wr they turn Summit football around and get a perfect season. The story takes place in New Jersey mostly on the football field.

PREDICTION: I made a prediction on the book Perfect Season. I made a prediction that Summit's High School Football team would have a perfect season. I made this prediction at the middle half of the book and now I am at the part where Summit does end up with a perfect season. I made this prediction because I got clues which were the title, Summit was getting a great QB and WR and they got a amazing coach.

Conflict: The book the Perfect Season's conflict is character vs society. I know this because in the most recent chapter I read Troy the main character is against the Lawton defense. Troy is against the odds with being down by 4 points with 12 seconds to go and has to score a touchdown. He finds a way to throw a deep ball to his teammate Chuku, score the touchdown and win the game.

Perfect Season is told from a 3rd person limited point of view. I know this because the first sentence of the book says, "Troy's mind spun the entire car ride to school." This shows the narrator is in Troys mind and is saying what he is thinking. It is limited because the narrator is only in Troy's head knowing his thoughts and what he sees. The narrator does not know what any of the other characters are thinking.

Setting- This book takes place in Summit, New Jersey. The part I am currently reading is at the football field, weight room and track. It is in the day time and is about 100 degrees. In this scene Troy and Chuku are doing the required workout to be able to play on varsity football. If they are not able to do this workout they are not eligible to play on varsity football. Coach whither spoon is being hard on the boys.

I chose this book because I like football. When I saw the titles perfect season it made me interested on what the story was gonna be about. The main character is Troy. He is a football player that is going to 8th grade. He is moving to New Jersey because he already has a contract from the New York Jets. His cousins Ty and Thane also live in New Jersey, Thane is currently playing with the Jets.
