Summary- The separated twin children of a famous jewel thief are thrown together after his death. Audience and Purpose: The purpose of this book is to show real issues that kids struggle with, like bullying and friendship, and a character who doesn't always hit the right moral mark opens up opportunities for kids to figure out what they might do in that situation. Also, purpose to make people laugh. The audience of this book are middles schoolers and elementary students. These kids are interested in the comedy.

Supporting Characters: The minor characters in this story are Rowley Greg's best friend & Greg's family. The author makes Rowley a big part in this story because Greg is always at school with him together & whenever Greg is bored he goes to Rowley's house. Greg's family is a important role in this story because Greg's life is surrounded by his family and they put him through a mix of emotions.

Making Connection: A connection I can make from reading this text that corresponds to myself is the protagonist Danny Walker loves basketball and I love basketball too. Also Danny is always the shortest on the court and when I play basketball I tend to be the shortest on the court. I can make a connection to the world with from Danny in this text connecting to Muggsy Bogues who was the shortest ever NBA player.

Topic: SETTING- The setting of the book Sting takes place in many different places. It take place is Paris, Franc, Brooklyn, New York and Washington, DC. The teenagers are trying to steal diamonds from these places. This happens at night time. At 11 pm they try to steal diamonds from a jewelry store from all those different locations. That is the setting of this book.

Characterization: The main character in this book is Greg Heffley. Greg's mom is putting up posters and making a petition to stop using electronics and make it like back in the old days. This make Greg feel mad and embarrassed. Greg's favorite things to do are play video games on the couch and play video games with his best friend Rowley. He thinks if things go back to being old school his life will get ruined.

The Climax: The climax in this book is when the angry beasts called wild fangos threaten to destroy the island. Jack and his sheep dog friends and Moxie his favorite have to fight to save the island. They go to battle and it is a intense and a very tough battle for Jack and his companions. Moxie, Jack and the other dogs win the fight and the island is saved.

TOPIC: Inciting Incident- The inciting incident is when Jack gets swept away at sea. He get taken to a mysterious island. He meets sheep dogs and a dog named Moxie and they are trying to fight off the wild fangos who will take over the island if they do not stop them.

ARCHETYPE: The archetype of this book is voyage. This is voyage because the protagonist Jack is at sea and gets swept away by a storm to a island. He meets these special dogs, sheep dogs that he becomes really close with and can communicate with them. He has to fight Wild Fangos angry beasts to stop their destruction before it is too late. After, he has to determine if he goes back to human life or be with the dogs.

Supporting Characters: In this book Ms. Holiday is the supporting character. She is Agent Alexander Brand's side kick agent partner. She is important in this book because she always keeps agent Alexander in check when he has to much work. Also, whenever Alexander needs help he calls for Ms. Holiday. That is why the author made it important for her to be in the book.

He speaks perfect English and is looking to destroy Jamie in the competition. He says Jamie is not funny and he will crush him and his wheelchair. That is the antagonist in this book.

Troy can not afford to go to a better school so has to go to Summit. They get a former NFL player as coach Troy as qb and Chuku as wr they turn Summit football around and get a perfect season. The story takes place in New Jersey mostly on the football field.

PREDICTION: I made a prediction on the book Perfect Season. I made a prediction that Summit's High School Football team would have a perfect season. I made this prediction at the middle half of the book and now I am at the part where Summit does end up with a perfect season. I made this prediction because I got clues which were the title, Summit was getting a great QB and WR and they got a amazing coach.
