Protagonist: The protagonist in this book is Danny Walker. Danny is a very short kid and loves to play basketball. He always feels embarrassed because of his small size and people thinking he is not big enough to play basketball. Danny is trying to keep on grinding and practicing to prove people wrong and shows he is a great basketball player. He always feels that basketball is the only thing that makes him happy.

Making Connection: A connection I can make from reading this text that corresponds to myself is the protagonist Danny Walker loves basketball and I love basketball too. Also Danny is always the shortest on the court and when I play basketball I tend to be the shortest on the court. I can make a connection to the world with from Danny in this text connecting to Muggsy Bogues who was the shortest ever NBA player.
