It did a good job of relaying the story as it was in the books. It stays quite true. I just didn't love the story and don't like most of the art. Some of it is good. Overall it's just fine.

Also didn't understand in the book why the man would call his girl a bitch for distracting the authorities and giving him an opportunity to get away. What about that makes her a bitch?

So, I don't remember if it's mentioned in the book, but the corpse of the person that made the circle is naked. Is this accidental? Or relevant? I don't see why they would be naked when they were depicted as clothed the moment of the attack...
