This has greatly improved, I'm so glad I powered through his early statements. I say skip the introduction. He does interview Israeli soldiers and settlers. In my view so many involved in the conflict don't have a complete picture, this book is one on the Palestinian side that helps build a more complete perspective. I do not like the "whatever" attitude about throwing rocks, however, I'm a Ghandi/MLK fan at heart.

I wish I had skipped the introduction. I'm not a fan of books written by journalists about their travels while trying to incorporate history, I find a lot of key history missing. The Ehrenreich also stated he doesn't want to learn the Israeli side, which pulled out a bias against him I'm trying to overcome (I strongly believe in looking at issues from all angles). We will see....
