BTW. The title Lullaby fits pretty well in my mind. This thing is a giant snorefest in my mind. Would I have read it in the evening instead of morning I would have fallen asleep.

What motivates the author to go from a bunch of fallen trees to narrate about traitors? Seriously it makes no sense.
And I get why Jims wants to fight that metal creature but why the others?
Plus that sharky weapon of Jim is one big Gary Stue and so is Alice. Narration wise this is basically "because the plot says so" a shame considered the artwork. Plus without knowing the other tales you would be lost here.

Jim was told when all trees die the world would die and he states that its not his problem. I have the suspicion this is to make him seem badass but it basically says that he is either a moron or suicidal.
And apparently Red is a werewolf... yeah maybe they should color her differently then. Red fur does not exactly scream wolf.
Also that goat just accepts the magic duel, but it was never referred to as such before

The fairytale related narration gets pretty annoying, despite what many tell you the good guys do not necessarily win in fairy tales.
Also why does Pinnochio speak of himself in third person and constantly switches between he and it? Is he mental?
Not to mention that all the narration, scene switches and dialogue is turning this into a sort of blur in my head.

So the pig-guy and the fox-girl are the Huntsman and Red Riding Hood? Ok the piper somehow fits but why that change? What does it bring to the story and apparently Red now has the powers of the wolf from Three Little Pigs....and now we are at Hansel and Gretel... seriously would some narration boxes saying "winter forest" or the like hurt them? And how did Jim Hawkins and Pinnochio get there from the warm harbor?

Ok, these scenes changes could really be done better. A simple narration box telling us where we are would solve that problem.

Ok, now its OZ, I guess, the first reference apart from Wonderland that I got... but since when did Oz have pig- and fox-people? And now its treasure island and I am in a completely different story. Seriously, we now get Pinocchio's backstory for no reason apparently.

I guess these figures here are references to other fairy tales but I have no idea which ones. Maybe Peter Pan and Robin Hood but even then...

This is kind of stupid, Alice is not only now the second hand of the queen and conguered six kingdoms, apparently controlling insane people is very easy here, but despite claiming that she can barely even remember her old live ever since she came to this land she still allegedly cries each evening, at least the book suggests this, and misses them? Did they cut some spell from this story?

Sorry authors but I think you take too much after Disney. Fairy tales often tend to be very dark so this here so far seems pretty much in line.
