Jesus why is Dmitri such an ass. Also it feels like I'm just reading about people being assholes for no particular reason. There's no actual sort of inner conflict yet, except maybe a little in Fyodor. Dmitri says he has some, but I don't get how. He's overly lustful? He acted against it well enough in the end, so I don't get it

Dropped The Idiot about 35 pages in. Wasn't liking it at all, and Myshkin was too boring for me. So far I'm already liking BK a lot more.
