75% and they seemingly resolved the next step of the conflict. Boy, I wonder what will happen now? Surely the heavy handed foreshadowing that Zereysis is going to meddle won't come to fruition!
The sex scenes are almost comedic now. Not really my jam. Not bad, but a tad disappointing.

It was obvious that, when they seemingly solved the main conflict less than halfway through, that something was going to go wrong. What a buncha idiots. This is a silly scenario, though. There's literally no good reason for Zeryesis to accept this offer. None whatsoever.
The first sex scene was pretty ok. Wasn't sure how or when it was going to happen. Wonder if there'll be more in this book or not.

This guy uses fay instead of fey, and it's killing me. And humans being (sort of) considered fey is just... weird.
The flirting is only getting more aggressive, and the girls keep doing the aw shucks you don't mean that routine. It's all getting old.

As I said before, it's a bit cringe. But it feels earnest, instead of bordering on (or simply being) skeevy like a lot of harem novels. The girls are a little too into Steve without much reason, but that's expected. So that's ok. But, now we're starting to transition into when Steve is openly flirting with Lulu, and it's kind of ugh. Petting her without warning or her consent... I get she's a dog girl, but come on.

I was going to say that so far, this isn't too cringe. But then I read a sentence that contained 'only an incel would...' It's pretty embarrassing to write incel in complete seriousness. But, even still, I've read worse cringe before. This is alright. I'm definitely ok with monster girls. And they seem to be at least slightly older than the standard harem genre fare, so that's a nice change of pace as well.

Had enough of Logan Jacobs for now. Wanted to read another quick book, because I want to hit 30 books for the year, and it's not guaranteed that I will finish Mistborn 2 in time if I start it now. (That's what I truly want to read next.) I had already downloaded this to my Kindle, so off we go.
No opinions yet, since I literally just started. Writing seems mildly competent as of now.
