The covenant path of loving God more than anything else is the path that brings true peace, comfort, confidence, and joy

17- Christ is the servant who IS the covenant (Isaiah 42:6,49:8) and the messenger OF the covenant (Malachi 3:1). Christ's atoning sacrifice was made in order for the Father to fulfill His promises.. Christ IS THE WAY (John 14:6).
Christ makes it possible.
18 - Our role is to help everyone join the covenant so that they can come unto Christ, who will fulfill the promises of the covenant and bring them to the Father

15 - Malachi 4:6 The bigger story is "the story of God redeeming all mankind. The covenant is God's promise to bring about that redemption,  and it is only when our hearts turn to the covenant again that the gospel can roll forth in the way it needs to. Temple & Family History Work is a crucially important element to the covenant, but ... it is a way of tying all of us, in this life or the next to each & to God.

9 - once we make a covenant with God, we have left neutral ground forever. God will not abandon His relationship with those who have forged such a bond to Him..all those who have made a covenant with God have access to a special kind of love and mercy. HESED.

8 - God is unfailing in His role in the covenant; the only variable in this relationship is us. God wants us to return to Him in a higher, holier state, and He has made a plan, or a path, for that to happen... This is a lopsided covenant relationship, for we are clearly the beneficiaries and God is the benefactor.

He is anxious to bless us more than we deserve and make more of us than we could hope for.
