I don’t know why I’m surprised but each one of these stories has been more depressing then the last. If he didn’t make me want to curl into a little sadness ball after each one, I would be finished already. Of course, I mean this with the highest praise. Short stories being notoriously difficult to write & to be so heavily involved after 2 pages, plus he drops a wisdom bomb on you each one.
