Also real talk: why is August even a college student? She should just be a young adult moving cities and takes the subway to work. It just adds unnecessary questions like "when does she have time to do any schoolwork." I'm calling it now that the only reason she is, is because at some point in the novel she's going to have to use the school library or other resources to look something up.
