Status Update

Jite is 66% done

It’s not that I don’t like it, it’s fine, and I think the bits when they interact that explore female friendship are interesting, the hoopoe’s stories are fine, but it’s kind of meh to me… it’s just dragging and I’m not yet seeing the point. Two-thirds of the way in, these 3 women go on a sort of pilgrimage and then… just circle around their issues ad nauseum. I keep waiting for something to happen.
