j finished part one. i do love the backdrop of enlightenment politics, but rn it’s got…I don’t know, i feel like it’s been spending this whole time setting the scene for the rest of the story, so i hope it delivers.

almost done! i guess i thought the book would be more character driven. but it’s not. and it’s still good i think i was just looking for character driven books always - my previous thoughts still apply

nothing extraordinary has happened - just deles like a retelling of regular history without any real development of the plots actually by the author. also why is robespierre not there for a single riot, and it’s not a character thing its just bc
