Why do people just like to write words, without saying anything meaningful? There have been so many books this year where authors think that a good book means writing good prose, but leave out anything like character development, world building, plot, and all the other important pillars of a story.

Seriously, you can turn your brain off for this book, wake up 2h later, and realize nothing changed at all. Haven't read anything from this author before, but the plot holes are almost as big as the actual potholes in my home town.
