Netta One of my favourite facts about the Horde legacy in Russia is that Yusupov family, the epitome of the immense wealth and power, were descendants of the khan of the Nogai Horde who allied himself with Ivan IV.

:) yes I had remembered that they had tatar ancestry, but I didn't know that it came from the Nogai horde, interesting!
