This is soothing the ache in my chest in small, soft ways. Neve writes the way I’d want to dream. Succinct but lush in the details. Full-bodied characters with emotions pouring over and crystallizing and, and… becoming salt I’d lick from my teeth.

I don’t have enough words. But I’m grateful she does.

Neve’s books are major comfort reads for me, and this world where Les exists is my ultimate weighted blankie of choice. Grateful I’ve waited to read this one.
