I hate and love Lord Henry, and Dorian Gray confuses me to no end - I pity Basil for having been forced into this predicament, really. Though the fact that he has such intriguing friends makes Basil himself a very interesting character…

Oscar Wilde’s writing is AMAZING. His descriptions, his dialogue, and the way he sets the tone, it’s all brilliant. True dark academia material. (Cassie fans, it reminds me SO MUCH of Matthew Fairchild.) Though, the short intro I’ve had to Dorian Gray is unnerving? He’s like- a manchild, honestly. Can’t wait to see how this progresses!
