little brandon trope that never fails to send a thrill down my spine: when characters are slowlly figuring out this detailed evil plan and are like "there's one thing that doesn't add up... what am i MISSING" and you just kNOW the twist is comingggg ( yes ik it's a common mystery twist but it's just so good when he does it )
