I can tell the author is going for "witty" dialogue, but the MCs are both idiots so it doesn't fly. I'm about half done and it's (maybe?) just starting to get somewhat interesting. I can't help but feel there's a decent mystery to be had in there if only it wasn't playing second fiddle to a dumb as dirt, no chemistry romance. Maybe in the hands of a competent thriller writer this would be better than a harlequin.
