At the beginning I was tracking right along with Tonya's interesting and approachable intro to types of toxic threats, and getting excited about her promise of simple baby steps that can make a big difference. Kind of crashed & burned at simple baby step #1: REPLACE ANYTHING PLASTIC WITH GLASS AND NEVER PUT ANYTHING PLASTIC IN DISHWASHER OR MICROWAVE. Honestly I feel like a sea creature being told to avoid salt.

After recovering from the initial shock at the first simple baby step I talked it over with some friends and decided I overreacted. I decided I needed to try to listen to the advice in the spirit in which it is offerred. So I went back and started over and have been pleased to find a lot of interesting and useful information.
