I’d never have guessed this was written by Jocelynn, honestly. Not only the subject matter but the writing style is different.

It’s funny how any and all books dealing with celebrities always make me hate fans at one point or another. I hate how they turn on people. How obsessive they are. It ruins lives, and it’s not healthy. Supportive fans that only want their favorites to be happy are rare.

UGH they’re so sweet but holy fork do I not see how they could get a true HEA. The best they can do is something like their friends who go months without seeing each other in person. That’s so heartbreaking. I’m horrified by the reality they live in, and even worse is how that’s most likely actual reality in China.
