Steele has a way of writing where you sit down and are suddenly almost 100 pages into his book. This is the 2nd in the series, starts off right in the middle of action, and is moving at a faster clip than the first book. I think that's a good thing? We'll see how it goes.

Something wrong with the page count here on Goodreads because this book is definitely longer than 528 pages... so.. I still have about 100 pages left, LOL.
