I have got to say this book is one of the best I have ever read! And, for the first work of serious literature, from the author, I am amazed. Def. "buy the hardback when released" author on my shelf. I HATED that I had to put it down and do other things and wish I had a day to sit down, with no interruption and read the whole book in one sitting, had I had the time I would have! This book makes me feel like I'm home

The story only gets zanier, as if it wasn't weird enough But I think where when the murder victims funeral includes a gingerbread cookie made to symbolize the dead & all those who came are asked to partake in eating that cookie..I can't wait to find out, did the gingerbread man kill himself, I guess if the cookie did it, in the end, with how crazy the book, the characters have been, it would all be left to make sense

Getting further into the investigator, Ded's world, and Icky's (the dead poet) I am befuddled by the strange things that go on in the book. It is nothing if not one of the most unique reads ever, literature on another plane of existence and writing far and beyond what I deem best of the best. It is the novel every writer wants to write and the book that is too unique not to love.already, so early. whodunit?? no idea
