The lore's great when it happens but holy shit there's so much incest, I can practically hear GRRM breathing heavily on each page. I might drop the series if he keeps on with the inbreeding and unironic Electra complex. idk why he decided to make the 1st book's plot twists revolve around incest since according to the rest of his writing, it's barely a taboo at all

i think tyrion is grrm's gary stu moral self-insert when he feels a bit too slimy after all the rape and incest he writes. yeah this series isnt about good people but like literally all the female characters are either mothers, abuse victims, incestuous, or ugly (this category has only 1 character). i just want good things for the starks......
