I picked this up today at BN - I didn’t read the synopsis, I didn’t check GoodReads for friend’s reviews… because so far I’ve liked everything by Monica Kubica. Now as I sit here on my couch about to crack it open, I’m a bit apprehensive as most of my friends reviews are unfavorable 😳😬🫥😵

Please let me know what you think of this read.. it’s in my Amazon cart I’ve seen so many mixed reviews. I don’t know. I don’t know I’m scared.😩🫣

I’ve reached page 51 and it’s ok so far. It doesn’t seem slow (but…. Idk if I can judge that yet lol). The writing is taking some getting used to - the sentences are kind of choppy and not smooth. Id read an excerpt before buying. So far I don’t regret the purchase 🤞🏻🤞🏻
