Oh man idk why people are raving over this book? I like the magic system and the story is fun...I like the characters too but there isn't enough time to get to know them. I think the narrative is supposed to be funny but I've been cringing the whole time. I will definitely recommend this to my friends with pre-teen kids but it's just not for me. I'm assuming people are raving just because it's Brandy Sandy??? Idk :/

Don't get me started on the people claiming it's "hilarious". Yeah, if you're 12. It reads like the creative writing assignments in had to do in grade 6/7 tbh.
