Ok so Jake has his faults but Bella made the wrong choice 🤷🏼‍♀️ No, actually, Jake deserves better (Renesmee was the wrong answer to his storyline)
Also, if this book was written now, there'd be a poly relationship going on or something lol

I've been meaning to read this for a while...it's been recommended to me lots. But I've also heard there's a brutal rape scene in it which is super disappointing and I'm very scared. (Also pedophilia which makes me even more nervous lol). At least it's written by a female author so it's not gonna be romanticized (I hope).

Smut gives me secondhand embarrassment. Dirty talk makes me cringe so much.
I also don't think after I've killed someone for the first time and then be ~in the mood~
But I guess I'm just not like other girls or whatever
The more I talk about how much smut makes me cringe, the more self conscious I get lol.

The writing is still atrocious...like, soooooo bad. But tbh I'm really enjoying the dragons and the magic and the plot moves along at a great pace.
Oh, and the romance (which hasn't happened yet but I know is gonna happen) is super cringey...I think just because it's first person and she's super horny for him at the stupidest times...and she reads like a 15 year old, not a 20 year old.

She nearly gets raped, new husband forced to watch. They kill the men responsible and then fuck each other immediately after? Please.
If I've escaped near-rape & experienced killing someone for the first time ever, I don't think I'd be letting any man touch me for a long, long time.
I honestly really like these books but the smut is soooo annoying. I will never comprehend why people seek it out lol.

I literally have 2 chapters left and I just can't bring myself to finish this. This book is so short and it's taken me sooooo long. Almost considered DNFing but now I'm in too deep.

Thought I'd get through one single book without a rape scene but no :( I understand this is a thing that happens but it still sends me spiraling every damn time. How men aren't openly embarrassed/ashamed of themselves I'll never understand. (Not all men blah blah fucking blah)

Oh man idk why people are raving over this book? I like the magic system and the story is fun...I like the characters too but there isn't enough time to get to know them. I think the narrative is supposed to be funny but I've been cringing the whole time. I will definitely recommend this to my friends with pre-teen kids but it's just not for me. I'm assuming people are raving just because it's Brandy Sandy??? Idk :/

I haven't read anything about the Brandy Sandy secret project books being released this year and tbh this one surprised me when I first picked it up. It's *very* whimsical lol
