The writing is still atrocious...like, soooooo bad. But tbh I'm really enjoying the dragons and the magic and the plot moves along at a great pace.
Oh, and the romance (which hasn't happened yet but I know is gonna happen) is super cringey...I think just because it's first person and she's super horny for him at the stupidest times...and she reads like a 15 year old, not a 20 year old.

I'm 100000% sure she gave MC the lightning signet just so she could write about her summoning it while she orgasms. I've only ever rolled my eyes this hard one other time and it was during a SJM book. Figures.
