I was bored shitless my god😭😭 idk just there was no tension for me, it was all very generic and i craved a bit of angst with it being best friends to lovers but :(
👀 do you remember at which % you called it quits? I'm only 15% in but I definitely feel ~some~ angst already with the unrequited crush and all. Then again, most friends to lovers end up faltering for me once the couple gets together for some reason so still not there yet.
I dnfed both books in this series 🤡
@Mariam, I'm too early on to tell, but I get DNF-ing book one. It wasn't exactly a hit for me either. Hoping this one is a improvement tho 😪 at least I like Teddy so far

I liked book 1 and was excited for this book but I was left conflicted and I probably should have rated it lower. My goal this year is to round down lol This went from pining to everything in a blink of an eye. All the angst I was loving disappeared instantly and was replaced with sex scenes where Liam is calling Teddy’s ass a pussy and I kind of checked out. I did love Liam’s absolute devotion to Teddy once he found out but I was bored.
