I am really enjoying the relationship dynamic between the two characters in this book. I like that what they have is nothing like Leander and Taylor's journey so far. I makes it feel like a completely different series set in the same world with new characters. I like that it doesn't just feel like a copy and paste of the first books. I really enjoy the author's writing. It is easy to read and entertaining. Love.

This was a really good installment to start Beth and Gareth's journey. I love the characters individually, and feel like I already know them, and that the had a super slow burn through the first 4 books. I feel like I fully understand both of their perspectives. I loved the cliffhanger at the end. This was so good! Excited to keep going!

Sucked right into this book from the sneak peek at the end of book 4. Already, I think I may even like this couple more than the original. I love that the male lead begins by denying his connection to the female lead. I feel like that's a trope that always gets me. Excited to see where this one goes!!!
