Teal Sorry you're having trouble with it, Meep! That's interesting about visualization — I can still visualize some of the scenes a year+ later, so I guess my brain must be on a compatible wavelength with the author's. Which, now that I think about it, is probably why I had to DNF The Rifter — it was full of cruel and ugly stuff that came across so vividly that it ended up being too disturbing for me to handle.

I hope this one eventually turns out to be worth your time. 🤞🏼

Meep Teal - currently caught at almost liking it; for me trying to understand the world is warring with getting to know the characters and the plot.
