Starts right where book one stops... nearly miss running over someone in the road, turns out to be Cyrus, girl's boyfriend before she went back to her pack and joined with the Alpha [finally]... stuff gets weird instantly, and Cyrus is definitely at the center of what's going wacko with Preston now [he's out of it, seeing and hearing things that aren't going on, in his own manipulated world, or someone's...]

So far... we've picked up exactly where book one ended. Only the person is the road is Cyrus, her human guy that she hadn't broken up with yet. And he's acting like there's something wrong with them trying to hit him while he was in the middle of the road... guessing Cyrus IS Raze. He's not afraid of the Alpha, and is standing toe to toe in front of him. Then shakes his hand... which is the clue...
